Bayern deserved being down at halftime but turned on the heat in the second half. Finally, in the 62nd minute, Kingsley Coman headed home the equalizer. Sargent (83′ & 87′) and Erik Maxim Choupo-Moting (84′) could have scored the winner for Werder and Bayern, respectively. On balance, it was a deserved 1-1 draw.
